Hi, I’m Job Cooper with Wyckoff Heating and Cooling, serving the Greater Des Moines Area. Today I would like to talk to you a bit about doing a fall service check on your furnace. Of course we just came off an extremely hot summer and your air conditioner just ran and ran and ran and along with the air conditioner running the furnace blowers runs along with the components such as the controls in the furnace run as well. This is a good time of year as the temperatures start to drop to think about getting the furnace checked.
There are a lot of advantages when you do a service and check to the furnace to maintain it and make sure it is running as efficiently as possible and try to avert any problems it might happen during the weekend or late at night or when the temperature is really cold outside.
Here at Wyckoff Heating and Cooling we offer some different packages or availability for services and check. We offer a special right now on your furnace for $83 that typically runs at $95. We also have our planned service and check Peace of Mind service agreement where we can get you set up where we do both the fall service and check on your furnace and in the spring time do the air conditioner and that runs $150 so there are some savings there. There is a lot of Peace of Mind to having those things checked out before it is actually time to run them, before it gets really hot or really cold.
Some of the things we like to do on the furnace side are adjust the dampers, clean and replace filters, tighten connections, lubricate the motors, check the combustion of the systems, adjust gas pressures. Make sure the motors are operation in the parameters of their amperage; if they are pulling too much electricity it might mean they are running too hard or it is possible that it is something that needs to be replaced down the road. Lots of things that make sure you got that piece of mind going into the really cold times of year that your furnace isn’t going to conk out on you.
Please give us a call and we have lots of different packages and lots of different ways we can come out and work with you.
We are very flexible on you schedule. If you want us in the morning, the afternoon or late afternoon and we even run some Saturdays. You can give us a call at (515) 287-6000 or visit us on the web at www.wyckoffcomfort.com.
Get you set up so you can get your furnace turned up and checked up and have that Peace of Mind. Thanks for taking the time to view this.
